Poetry Friday--Early Worm

Early Worm

Oh if you’re a bird, be an early bird
And catch the worm for your breakfast plate.
If you’re a bird, be an early early bird
But if you’re a worm, sleep late.

Heh. I love this poem. Frankly, I'd love to be a worm and sleep late, but the early-birdness of my personality gets me up. Oh, well.

There has to be an animal that goes to bed early...?
