Poetry Friday: for Kathy

The Write Sisters are grieving today for our sister Sally and the whole Wilkins clan. Their girl, Kathryn Wilkins Rios, died in Nicaragua on July 9th. The funeral was this past Wednesday.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

In love longing
I listen to the monk's bell
I will never forget you
even for an interval
short as those between the bell notes.
